Admission is always FREE for members, active military, and retired career military personnel. Free museum admission is also available for those receiving SNAP benefits—up to 4 people.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Fenimore Farm and the Fenimore Art Museum have joined Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. This program will provide those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits with free admission, for up to four people, when they visit any of these three Cooperstown based museums, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. Located in the Country Village, Todd’s General Store offers original and reproduction 19th-century products such as ceramics, glassware, band boxes, tinware, brooms, candles, soaps, candies, toys and games. For additional shopping opportunities visit our online store.

Fenimore Farm Store

The museum store is located in the Herders Cottage, just outside the museum’s main entrance and parking lot. It features merchandise based on the history and culture of New York State and rural America. Handcrafted items produced by our highly skilled staff and local artisans are featured. A section containing toys, games, books and crafts will please children of all ages!

Directions

BY CAR

Fenimore Farm is located at 5775 State Highway 80, Cooperstown, NY 13326 which is one mile north of the Village of Cooperstown on the west side of Otsego Lake. From the traffic light in the Village, follow Route 80 east approximately one mile. Parking is available in the lot in front of the Fenimore Farm Store and museum entry at the stone barn and the small lot located across the street

BY TRAIN

The closest Amtrak stations to Cooperstown are in Utica (approximately 40 miles north of Cooperstown) and Albany-Rensselaer (approximately 80 driving miles east of Cooperstown). BY COOPERSTOWN VILLAGE TROLLEY

Fenimore Farm and Fenimore Art Museum are regular stops on the Cooperstown Village Trolley route, which in 2021 operates May 29 and 30 and June 19 to September 5 from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. ON FOOT

Door to door, Fenimore Art Museum is 1.3 miles from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, 1.1 miles from the traffic light and one mile from the Otesaga Hotel and Resort. Please note that there are no sidewalks along State Highway 80 for the last .3 miles of the walk.

Group Tours

Discounts are offered for groups with a minimum of 15 participants. (This rate is not applicable for visiting school or youth groups.) Confirmation is required two weeks prior to your visit. Special guided tours are available. The Fenimore Art Museum offers boxed or buffet lunches with several menu options.
